Welcome to the Beulah Elementary School Library! Serving students and teachers in grades K–5, our library provides access to a diverse collection of print books, eBooks, and digital resources that support learning, literacy, and lifelong reading. We are committed to fostering a love of reading, promoting information literacy, and collaborating with teachers, families, and the community to enhance student success.

The library is led by Kelly Green, a certified Library Media Specialist with a Master’s degree in Library Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Through innovative programs, instructional support, and quality resources, the Beulah Elementary School Library strives to inspire curiosity, creativity, and academic achievement in every learner.

    In collaboration with each school’s learning community, the Lee County Schools Library Media Program will be the center of teaching and learning by providing equitable and intellectual access to informational resources and tools that are required for student success by extending and providing an accessible and inviting environment to all stakeholders involved in the learning process.

     

    Mission Statement

    The school library media program is at the core of effective learning and plays a vital role in curriculum development and student achievement. The mission of the Lee County Schools Library Media Program is to assist students and teachers in becoming effective users of ideas and information. This mission will be accomplished by

    • providing up-to-date, high quality, continuously accessible resources in a variety of formats which enrich student learning and improved achievement for all students.
    • structuring learning experiences across the curriculum to ensure that learners will be able to independently inquire, locate, analyze, share, and create new knowledge.
    • providing leadership, instruction, and consulting assistance in the design of learning strategies and the use of information technology.
    • collaborating with other educators to design learning strategies and skills needed for both lifelong learning and lifelong reading.
